A reference frequency generator with GPS synchronization.
Teensy Microcontroller
Rotary encoder with switch
GPS module with frequency output
LEDs to show status
The GPS module was programmed via the PC. The different commands were copied into the code of the microcontroller.
With the rotary input the user is able to select different output modes: 10 MHz or set frequency and set dutycycle. By turning and clicking the menu can be navigated.
Depending on the selected option, the GPS module is reconfigured by the microcontroller.
One GPS antenna on the back can be replaced by an external antenna via the covered SMA connector. The uncovered connector is used as the signal output.
